The Portsmouth Trisail is a sculptural piece of public art installed at the junction of the M27 motorways near Portsmouth and is part of the Gateway to Portsmouth project.

An innovative project with a complex design, the 43 metre high sail was constructed to withstand the strong winds associated with the south coast.

Each panel was manufactured from mesh PTFE material tensioned with adjustable cables connected to stainless steel membrane plates.

The Gateway to Portsmouth project and has been seen by countless numbers of visitors.
