The Liverpool Biennial 2002
Rainbow installation ˜1+1=3' in the Cammell Laird Shipyard.
Water was pumped at pressure through a series of perforated tubes this created a wall of raindrops (that acted as a prism).
Light was directed onto the ˜wall', and so is refracted by/from the droplets, in this way the light is broken up into its spectrum creating a rainbow.
Marc lead the team installing the large lighting rigs on to the disused cranes, carefully aligned each individual light unit onto the ˜wall'.
